He worked alongside Massimo Marchesini to implement the company plan and today is still the driving force behind its tireless technological innovation.
The constant development of original ideas and solutions is something that has always been a feature of company life. It is an ambitious result, achieved by investing in the latest instruments and dedicating a great deal of time and effort to research.
The company currently has more than 120 3D CAD workstations, all with "Pro/ENGINEER" software and many additional applications, including Pro/Sketcher, Pro/Part Modeling, Pro/SURFACE and Pro/Sheetmetal. Other applications, such as Pro/Mechanism, Pro/Meccanica, support design development, movement checks, structural calculations and dynamic speed, acceleration and force analysis.
Designers use the latest generation rapid prototyper to generate solid objects, even with complex shapes, from three-dimensional models produced in the CAD environment, before they are manufactured.
To allow prototypes to be developed and tested without interfering with the normal production cycle, an experiment room equipped with the most modern technologies was inaugurated in 2004 and staffed with a team to research and develop new solutions.
The current trend in packaging is represented by flexible mechanics.
