To be efficient a Quality System must be properly documented.
For this reason the Marchesini Group S.p.A. has introduced an Operating Procedure system (complete with all necessary sets of forms) and Operating Instructions designed to provide operating and method references within it.
In the event of conflicting interests between the various documents they must first be updated and then the documents at a higher level take precedence.
· Quality Manual, this describes the company Quality policy and organization as well as the activities tied to the quality of the service supplied.
· Operating Procedures, these define the methods for activating the individual activities within the company departments or from one department to the next. If necessary they are combined with the Operating Instructions.
· Operating Instructions, these describe in detail the activities to be carried out at a strictly operational level.
· Forms, these are used to register the activities that are carried out.
Every quality document will be marked out from:
· a revision index number;
· an edition index number (and version);
· the document edition date;
· the document name and identification code
