Quality Plans can be drawn up at the company's bidding or at the specific request of the Client in order to guarantee sufficient confidence that the requirements specified in the contract will be satisfied.
The Quality Plan absorbs the managers of the individual company departments to act in compliance with its contents.
The Quality Plan document contains at least:
- the reference to the contract for which it has been compiled;
- an activity plan;
- an indication of the organizational structure and definition of the responsibilities of the company departments involved in the contract;
- an indication of the company procedures to be applied;
- the eventual procedures, operating instructions and technical documentation needed to complete the order;
- an indication of an inspection program;
- an indication of the department that will act as intermediary between the supplier and the client.
The Quality Plan expires when the order is completed.
