Linear Washing Machine

The LV series washing machines are linear type with a plunger-needle washing system; the difference between the various A, B, C, D models makes it possible to handle the entire range of pharmaceutical ampoules and bottles with production speeds between 2.000 and 30.000 pieces/hour, depending on the bottle size.
The bottles are carried to the washing stations upside-down by means of
self-centring plastic containers able to handle the entire range of sizes to be treated. Extraction from the containers takes place without the need of ejectors, thus avoiding bottle mouth contacts after the washing operation. Automatic transmission, managed by the machine electronic control system, is made possible by servomotors function.

Standard features

  • The washing cycles can be personalized in relation to the different types of filling products: injection liquids, drinkable liquids, freeze-dried products, tablets, powders.
  • The LV washers are constructed according to cGMP regulations and the fluid feed systems comply with the FDA regulation.
  • The machines are totally constructed in stainless steel, the types in use being: satin-finished AISI 304 for the supporting structure and the outer panels, mirror-polished AISI 316 L for all the internal parts in contact with the washing fluids.
  • The LV series machines can be fed manually or automatically by depackers and their discharge can be connected directly to sterilization tunnels or to filling machines, with or without rotary tables, conveyor belts, or other accumulation systems.
  • Complete access to the interior of the machines makes it possible to remove all the parts to be cleaned or sterilized: liquid pre-storage trays, recycling tanks, nozzle-holder manifolds, tubes and fittings.
  • The non-removable internal parts can be easily cleaned; there are no obstructions or liquid collection points and the machines are self-draining.
  • The patented washing nozzle-holder manifolds can be completely swabbed as they have no internal or external obstructions and are mirrorpolished.
  • Washing fluid consumption is reduced to a minimum both by use of a recycling circuit as well as by spray-phase timing.
  • Size change operations are limited to minor adjustments taking less than five minutes.
  • All movements are protected against overloading, by means of telescopic levers, with machine halt limit switches.
  • A torque limiter is installed on the drive shaft of the bottles or ampoules conveyor system to the washing stations.
