Marchesini Group will be in Barcellona at Hispack 2012 (Hall 3 - Booth C321), which will take place from May the 15th to the 18th.
For the occasion at Marchesini’s booth, organized by STE, the Group’s Spanish subsidiary, two complete lines will play the central role: the INTEGRA200 along with the STICKPACK LINE.
The INTEGRA200 is a robotized integrated blister line that can bring together in a single monoblock both the operations of thermoforming and cartooning. Reliable, flexible, ergonomic and with a compact design, it can keep a mechanical speed of 150 cartons per minute.
STICKPACK line is composed, instead, by a filling machine for stickpacks MSP 560 together with a cartoner MA50. The line is provided with a robotized stacking group to pick and move the stickpacks towards the cartoner. It is characterized by a reduced footprint, without putting the ergonomy and the accessibility to the various components aside for that reason.
We are therefore waiting for many you to come visit Marchesini’s booth number 321 at the hall 3on the next May the 15th!

An agreement was recently stipulated between a major company and a local authority to guarantee a nursery service that meets the needs of working parents and that is one-of-its-kind but could become a pilot project across Emilia Romagna.
The key players of this important Welfare agreement are Marchesini Group and the Local council of Pianoro.
The agreement protocol, approved by the town council of Pianoro last February 15th and signed by Marchesini, entails the reservation of a number of extra places at the local municipal nurseries in Pianoro and Rastignano, in addition to those actually vacant for next year, for the company’s own employees. These extra vacancies will not affect those available for residents, which will be assigned according to the conventional system. In a nutshell, Marchesini Group will offer its employees (even non-residents of Pianoro) the possibility to send their children to the local nurseries and the company will cover the expenses for each child that are normally covered by the public authority. The child’s family will pay the normal nursery fees, which are calculated according to ISEE parameters (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator), and the Group will pay the rest. The project was presented during a press conference in Bologna by Maurizio Marchesini, the CEO of Marchesini Group, the mayor of Pianoro Gabriele Monghetti, the provincial councillor Giuseppe De Biasi and the regional Welfare councillor Teresa Marzocchi.

“There are two ways of facing a critical or problematic situation: the first, that off giving up and feeling sorry for oneself, without even attempting to put up a fight; the second, that of believing and investing in one’s own ideas and dreams, fighting right to the very end”. These are the words of Mario Calabresi, Director of the Italian newspaper “La Stampa” and book writer, during the event entitled “Cosa tiene accese le stelle: Fior di Risorse meets Mario Calabresi” held at Marchesini Group and organized by Fior di Risorse – Persone al centro”. The settings of the event were a production factory of Marchesini Group. A hundred or so participants came to listen with great interest to Mr. Calabresi, assisted by Roberto Bonzio, an appreciated journalist and creator of the project entitled “Italiani di Frontiera”, on the following topics: the importance of thinking outside the box and believing in one’s own projects and dreams; enhancing talent; the possibility to act positively and actively in a period of crisis, such as that of our days. The two journalists captivated the audience with real stories and substantial portrayals of people “who made it” despite many problems and difficulties, thanks to their positive attitude, backed by great effort, faith and the “hunger for novelty”.
For info:

During the last edition of “Interpack” in Dusseldorf, Marchesini Group presented a complete and incredibly innovative line for packaging pre-filled syringes, from assembly through to bundle overwrapping.
The Marchesini Group offers technologically cutting-edge solutions for packaging pre-filled syringes. The line handles a glass syringe with assembled needle, protected by a plastic tamper-evident cover. The needle is pre-assembled by machine model Corima APS2 - Combi where the syringes received from the inspection machine are conveyed with a no-contact technology and loaded on the central carousel. On the latter, the plunger is inserted and screwed in position, afterwards the syringe is transferred to the next turntable to be inserted in a plastic cylinder that is pre-fed to the machine. In the station after that where the syringe is inserted in the cylinder, again on a star-wheel, the cap is inserted and pressed on. On the machine outlet, the syringe is sealed inside its container and sent to the infeed of the Cartoning machine MA320. The infeed system consists of two units of Marchesini’s robotic solution “Robocombi”; cutting-edge units in terms of handling and speed, even in small spaces. The first of the two Robocombi units installed after Corima’s assembling machine picks up the cylinders with the syringes inside and places them on a positive-motion bucket conveyor belt, in alternated direction, namely with the caps turned by 180°. The second Robocombi installed downstream from the first one, at the end of the bucket chain, picks up several containers at a time and places them on the loading chain conveyor of the cartoning machine, which then places them inside a carton. A bundle overwrapping machine MF910MINI is installed at the outlet of the cartoning machine.
Thanks to the technologies exploited, to the extensive application of robotic systems and to the flexibility of the machines, Marchesini is an undisputed leader of this market because it is able to offer lines for the primary and secondary packaging of pre-filled syringes and with speeds of up to 400 pieces per minute.
