During the seven day exhibition, the many customers who visited the Marchesini Group stand were able to admire not just innovative machines and lines, but also tasty typical Bolognese dishes served at the restaurant set up specially for the occasion, which provided an average of more than 400 meals per day.
Many people enjoyed the classic tortellini, accompanied by fine wines, strictly Italian of course. Not forgetting the famous desserts produced by the cook Giusy – first and foremost the “tiramisù”, but also doughnuts, tarts, various types of cakes – specialities from our cook Monica and Massimo Marchesini’s walnut liqueur.
Two types of pasta were served each day (tortellini plus another starter for vegetarians), in addition to lots of cold meats, sandwiches and pizza. The numbers speak for themselves: the following were consumed in the seven days of the exhibition 100 kg of tortellini, 100 kg of pasta, 20 kg of mascarpone, 600 eggs, 20 kg of various cheeses and two whole round of Parmigiano Reggiano cheeses, 28 kg of mozzarella!
