Tubes and Jars Filling Machines Counting Machines

In 1938 Tonazzi, a company operating in the packaging machinery sector, launched the first tube-filling machine for toothpaste. In 1996, the company was taken over by Marchesini Group, which made it a market leader in the supply of tube-filling machines, employing technologies that were soon flanked by a complementary range of solutions for filling and sealing cosmetic products like jars, mascaras and lip glosses. Innovation and excellence are today the distinguishing traits of Millennium series machines: featuring “balcony style” construction exclusively, they allow the entire dosing unit to be transferred as a single block from the filling station to the washing and sterilisation area.

In 1956, entrepreneur Benito Vasquali started building the first counting machines for tablets and capsules. He soon became a successful manufacturer in the sector, with over 3000 machines installed across five continents. Since then, counting technologies have evolved. Today they employ optical systems which combine flexibility and accuracy, coupled with electronic controls that guarantee total product quality.

In 2004, Vasquali joined Marchesini Group, expanding its production range with the aim of providing complete packaging lines. Following the acquisition, Marchesini Group merged the two companies, creating the Tonazzi-Vasquali brand.
