Marchesini Group is participating again this year in Vitafoods Europe, one of the main fairs dedicated to the world of nutrition, functional foods, and dietary supplements. From May 20 to 22, the nutraceutical community will meet for the first time in Barcelona for the 27th edition of Vitafoods. After 26 years of success in Geneva, the event is moving to the Spanish city with the aim of supporting and fostering the sector’s growth. The nutraceutical market, worth over 5 billion euros in Italy alone, is undergoing strong expansion, driven by increasing attention to well-being and healthy longevity. Spain, along with Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, and France, is one of the top 5 countries that make up 66% of the European nutraceutical market.
At the Barcelona Fair, Hall 4 Stand 4C2, Marchesini Group will present some of its packaging solutions. Visitors will be able to see details of several machines produced by the Dott. Bonapace brand, a company from Cusano Milanino specialising in laboratory machines for Research & Development and small industrial productions, which joined the Group in 2021.
The following will be on display at Vitafoods Europe:
IN-CAP, an extremely versatile and compact capsule filling machine that allows capsules to be filled with powders, liquids, pellets, and mini-tablets; 3XPACK, a semi-automatic blister machine with three independent stations for thermoforming, sealing, and cutting; CPR-18, a compact rotary tablet press that offers solid performance. The Tally system, a two-channel system for counting and filling bottles with tablets, capsules, and softgels, will also be showcased.
At stand 4C2, there will also be a refurbished line from the Rinova brand, capable of producing up to 80 cartons per minute. The line consists of a MB421, a thermoforming machine for blister packaging in PVC/ALU (or different materials upon request); BA100, a horizontal intermittent motion cartoner for blisters, designed to solve the main packaging issues for medium productions.
The presence of a refurbished line at the fair highlights the Group’s commitment to the ‘second life’ business: Marchesini Group, with Rinova, has further embraced the philosophy of industrial recovery, giving a new life to original used Marchesini lines and machines. The refurbishment process allows the Group to offer customers high-quality, reliable solutions that are advantageous from both a financial and environmental standpoint.
