First steps
WELCOME DAY
One of the Talent Garage’s first steps is the Welcome Day, when new Marchesini Group employees are officially welcomed among the ranks. A dedicated team provides an overall presentation of the company, explaining the organisation, history, core business, values, ideals and the main aspirations. The new recruits also benefit from an innovative video course structured around themes including communication and corporate ethics. The Welcome Day programme also includes talks by some of the company’s key people, who welcome the new arrivals in an informal climate conducive to sharing.
New recruits and interns are initially welcomed for a set period, during which they follow a training programme designed to lay the foundations for their future role in the company. This training includes the drafting of the training manuals that are provided to customers (a practice that allows new recruits and interns to become familiar with the machines and the environments where they are produced, assembled and tested) and the study validation procedures, in order to ensure trainees gain more in-depth technical knowledge and lay the foundations for their first interactions with the company’s various departments.
