Marchesini Group at Cosmofarma Exhibition 2024

Marchesini Group is to make its debut appearance at Cosmofarma Exhibition, the leading event in the pharmacy products world to be held at Bologna Fiere from 19 to 21 April 2024. In its 50th anniversary year, the Marchesini Group will be exhibiting key pharmaceutical, cosmetic and nutraceutical packaging models, providing added value for visitors and industry professionals with the opportunity to view product packaging methods at first hand.

Marchesini Group’s presence at the beauty care, health care and pharmacy services event focuses on the technologies and innovations incorporated in every pack (blisters, bottles, jars, tubes and sachets) before it is placed on the shelves of Italy’s 20 thousand pharmacies.

There will be two machines on show on Stand C68, Hall 25: IN-CAP and TM10. Very popular with research and development labs, pharmacies and hospitals worldwide and built entirely in Italy, the IN-CAP automatic capsule filling machine is able to process powders, pellets, liquids or semi-liquids, tablets, mini-tablets and capsules. Produced by Dott. Bonapace, the company from Cusano Milanino which joined the Marchesini Group in 2021, IN-CAP can process up to 3,000 capsules/hour and proportion a maximum of 20 possible combinations of different products into the same capsule.

Also, by the Dott. Bonapace brand, the stand will show a TM10, a 10 litre undervacuum turbo-emulsifier designed to process liquids and creams in laboratories and for small production batches. These processing and packaging solutions are perfectly compliant with the strict GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) at even the laboratory scale, to guarantee the best performance standards even for small, even local producers.

There will be a special focus on nutraceuticals, a sector enjoying rapid expansion globally, which studies plant and animal extracts, minerals and microorganisms and their health benefits, especially for the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases. The Global Nutraceuticals Market Report predicts that the global nutraceutical market will be worth 580 billion dollars by 2027, growing by almost 8% compared to 2020.
