Cosmopack 2026: Marchesini Group Beauty presents a new innovation on its Turbo-Mek 150

The innovations to be presented by Marchesini Group Beauty at Cosmopack 2026 will include a new process technology called Turbo 3D, developed in-house to meet the growing demands for operating flexibility and precise control from producers of emulsions, solutions and suspensions. 

At Stand A9 – Hall 19, visitors will be able to admire a Turbo-Mek 150, a Turbo-emulsifier model constructed by Dumek, featuring a ground-breaking system that allows the turbine to be optimised to suit different product formulae and phases. This Technology (patent pending) overcomes the mechanical limits on the gap between the rotor and stator, so customers can optimise the formula’s different phases in real time, reducing production cycle times and improving overall consumption figures.

Apart from flexibility, this solution also enables a higher degree of control on the scalability of output starting from the laboratory data: in fact, with this turbine structure the rpm and gap can be adapted automatically to replicate the laboratory shear rate on larger-sized machines. What’s more, there are additional benefits such as the extremely high shear power for emulsions and nano-stable solutions, while still keeping a close eye on shear stress. Furthermore, optimisation of the formula’s individual phases can generate savings on raw materials, since the emulsions produced are more stable and controlled, shortening production times and thus saving valuable energy. 

The turbine’s diameter can be adjusted directly via the production formula from the operator panel, which has been completely renewed for greater ease of use. The HMI has been updated with a new hardware configuration and an even more user‑friendly display, which provides more modern protocols, better reactivity and a more intuitive interface.

The graphic design, developed by Dumek, allows display of the entire machine and enables simple, immediate management of the various utilities, for a smoother, more effective user experience.
