OPEN FACTORY | 21: SEA VISION OPENS THE DOORS OF ITS NEW HEADQUARTERS
SEA Vision - Marchesini Group’s strategic partner - is opening the doors of its new headquarters in Pavia for the first edition of its Open Factory event scheduled from 8 to 12 November 2021, organized in conjunction with the CPhI trade fair in Milan. The event consists of five days of exhibitions and workshops in the company premises, during which visitors will be given a close insight into SEA Vision’s technologies in the very place where they are devised and developed.
The tour includes a visit to the new company spaces - opened in September - the areas devoted to Research and Development, Training and Production, as well as the VISIONS 21 contemporary art exhibition curated by Isorropia Homegallery.
The tour is completed by a visit to the showroom where pharmaceutical packaging machinery with integrated SEA Vision software is on display. It is in the showroom that the product demos (also broadcast live at the CPhI trade fair) will take place during the Open Factory days: a simulation of a real production environment where software performance is tested and improved.
These include the jewel in the crown: the yudoo Suite 4.0, a software platform designed to fit into a ‘traditional’ production context and make it evolve. Yudoo will be installed on a Marchesini Group packaging line consisting of a labelling machine and a case packer. During the demos, there will be a special focus on Paperless Manufacturing, EBR, OEE and Big Data analysis, features that the yudoo Suite natively integrates and that are crucial for reaping the full benefits of digital transformation.
During the days of Open Factory, guests will also be able to participate in Tech Talks, workshops that will take place at the Cardano Hall, where topics related to new technologies and innovation will be discussed.

Open Factory: when and where
From Monday 8 to Friday 12 November, from 9am to 7pm. On Tuesday 9 November, the opening time will be extended to 11pm to include a dinner on the premises for the day’s guests.
The SEA Vision plant is located in Pavia, 55 kilometres from the Rho trade fair, around 40 minutes by car.
