Marchesini Group at Vitafoods Europe 2026

The 2026 edition of Vitafoods Europe returns to Barcelona from 5 to 7 May, and Marchesini Group will once again be among the protagonists of the event dedicated to nutrition, functional foods and dietary supplements. This presence reflects the strategic importance of the nutraceutical sector for the Group’s Pharma Business Unit: a continuously growing market which, in Italy alone, exceeds €5 billion, driven by an increasingly widespread culture of wellness and longevity. 

In line with the Group’s Be program and to meet the needs of this sector, which is increasingly oriented toward the sustainability of packaging materials, the Marchesini Group team will hold a dedicated speech at the trade fair focusing on the PPWR and solutions developed for the nutraceutical industry. The talk, scheduled for 6 May from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm at the Vitafoods Europe Insights Theatre (Hall 6, Stand H2), will focus on technologies that support the evolution of packaging in line with European regulations, promoting the gradual replacement of PVC and the introduction of recyclable mono‑material solutions for stick packs and for the thermoforming of blisters and trays.

Solutions on show

Several solutions will be showcased in Hall H5 – Stand 5F12, including a selection of machines by Dott. Bonapace, a production site specialising in laboratory technologies for small industrial productions and for the R&D field.

The exhibition offering includes: IN‑CAP SE, an extremely versatile and compact capsule filler that allows the filling of capsules with powders, liquids, pellets, and mini‑tablets; 3XPACK, a semi‑automatic blister machine with three independent stations for thermoforming, sealing, and cutting; and CPR‑22, a rotary tablet press with solid performance, configured for the production of single‑layer or double‑layer tablets. These are complemented by two counting solutions: TALLY, a dual‑channel system for counting and filling bottles with tablets, capsules, and softgels; and ZERAH, a universal tabletop counter that ensures accurate dosing for different types of products. Both counting and filling machines will be integrated into a complete feeding line with capper and labeler to offer a complete solution. 

At Stand 5F12, an MT 1300 will also be on display, an automatic vertical intermittent‑motion filling machine designed by the Schmucker production site to ensure precision, flexibility, and sustainability. Ideal for packaging a wide range of powdered products, the 10‑lane MT 1300 produces recyclable mono‑material stick packs, meeting the most current requirements of eco‑sustainable packaging. The system is equipped with an auger dosing unit with independent drives, which ensure dedicated adjustment on each individual lane and extremely high dosing accuracy, with minimal tolerances.

Thanks to its high versatility, the MT 1300 allows the management of different formats and dosages with fast changeovers, while ensuring high performance, maximum production efficiency, and excellent operational accessibility.
